Distance Learning Proctoring
Distance Education students are welcome to use our site to take required tests. Please
contact us to make sure staff will be available to proctor. It is also the student's
responsibility to make sure all the required forms and permissions are in place! Deadline
dates for exams are provided by the student’s instructor in the course schedule. It
is the student’s responsibility for completing tests before the deadline.
There is a $15.00 to proctor exams for non-UA programs.
No walk-ins are accepted. Please call (256) 546-2886 to make an appointment to take
an exam. Please call in advance.
- WEEKDAYS Monday through Friday:
- Office hours are from 8:15 am to 5:15 pm. Please plan to arrive in time to complete
the exam by the end of office hours. Distance education students MUST schedule a time
to be proctored in advance.
- WEEKNIGHTS Monday through Friday
- Distance education students seeking proctoring services after 5pm should be aware
that the Gadsden Center may not have classes every evening. When classes are scheduled they
typically begin at 5:00 p.m. It is advisable that you confirm that classes are held
on the particular date you would like to be proctored, then schedule a time. You should arrive in time to
complete the exam before classes end. The building closes when classes end. Please call or email
Roger at email@example.com to schedule an exam in the evening Tuesday through Friday.
- Distance education students seeking proctoring services on Saturdays should be aware
that the Gadsden Center may not have classes every Saturday. When classes are scheduled they
typically begin at 9:00 a.m. Plan on starting the exam shortly after 9:00 a.m. if
testing in the morning. Plan on starting your exam by 2:00 p.m. if testing in the afternoon.
Availability of staff is dependent on class meeting times. The building closes when classes end. Please call or email Roger at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an exam on Saturday.
